Ok, so we have one very hungry little girl! Saturday at the shower, all she did the whole time was suck on the bottle! So, I went to the store after the baby shower and got her some rice cereal. I didn’t take pictures of her trying it for the very first time on Saturday as she was colicky and not feeling well. But we did take pictures of her on Sunday night. She LOVES the cereal! And she’s definitely sleeping better now too. So without further ado…some pictures of her eating on Sunday night.

Camielle had her second baby shower today. This one was thrown by grandma Ferris at Liberty Bible Church. Oh my goodness…craziness..in an awesome way! This child got so much, I don’t know if our apartment will be big enough for it all!

Long Weekend August 19, 2008
I do apologize that I did not get the chance to blog over the weekend. We left Thursday afternoon for Maryland, for a Welcome Baby Shower on the Young side. It was a decent weekend, just very long and tiring. However, we do know that Camielle is a good rider! She rode for 4-5 hours without fussing! Here are a few pictures from the baby shower this last weekend.
My mother-in-law made this cake. Isn’t it pretty? I think so. It was good too! I never pass up a good cake.

Ok, so my computer is a tad slow at the moment. I will post more pictures late. I am also working on some scrappy projects for the baby shower at home this weekend. When they are done, I’ll take pictures and post them. I’m in for a long night!
Speaking of nights…we went and got Camielle a pack-n-play with a bassinet in it last night and put it in our room, and guess what? I laid her down at 9:30pm, she woke up at 12:30am, I fed her, and laid her back down at 1:00am-ish, and she never woke up again until 6:30am this morning! Rock on! Mommy is a happy camper! Keep doing that Camielle!

I can not believe one full month has gone by already! They do grow so fast! In order to commemorate the full year of her growing, I’m going to do a mini -photo shoot on her month-birthday! As Jessica Turner said on her blog, “I know, I am such a scrapbooker,” I’m right there with you Jessica! (Check out her blog. You’ll find the link under blogroll.) So, I had some really awesome photos! Just gorgeous! But I’m only going to show you one, why? Because, thank you to the good Lord above, this one is just so perfect, beautiful and angelic. Apparently, Camielle not only has her daddy’s appetite, but also love of the night life. I have a feeling by the time she’s one, she’ll be walking around with a green glow to her…
So, I haven’t really had the chance to scrapbook in a few days. I want to, but then sleep usually wins out. For instance, like today, Camielle has been awake for most of the night since midnight. It is now currently 4:15am. I made daddy get up with her this time, as we heard her fussing in her swing. Alas, I just don’t have the heart to sleep…I feel like, and want to give him company. I want to do this because I know how lonely it can be when you are up. Most of the time I don’t ask him to get up nor do I wake him up that often, because he usually doesn’t get to bed until somewhere between 10 and 11pm and then have to be up for work at 3am. So here I am posting.
So since I don’t have any new lo’s to show you, I will post some pictures though. Here are a few of her rolling over. Yes, she is still doing this! It’s amazing. I’m sure pretty soon she’ll be rolling herself over from her back to her belly. Anyway, some pics…
And one more picture before leaving, yesterday we went to Wal-mart to get groceries, and apparently, miss Camielle, was not liking it, even in her sleep. Here’s proof…The Grump Face!

Quick Post August 8, 2008
I know that it has been at least two days since I’ve posted. Yesterday, Camielle and I hung out with Niki as she tried on wedding dresses, then went to lunch, then shopping, then to the Crafting Cottage for a make and take craft night. Busy day yesterday. Was very tired when got home.
Today we surprised grandma while daddy went to truck-lite to fill out an application.

It’s Not Fair!!! August 6, 2008
Waaaa! It’s not fair!
She’s only 3.5 weeks old.
Let me explain.
Tonight, daddy put Camielle on her tummy for some tummy time. Within moments, she had rolled herself over onto her side, then onto her back! Not kidding you! It was not a fluke, because she did it again! I have no pictures of this because I was not prepared for this. The average age for this milestone is between 2-3 months! She’s only 3.5 weeks! She’s so little! People aren’t kidding when they say they grow up so fast. I know it’s inevitable that she is going to grow and reach these milestones, and I want her to, yet a part of me wants her to stay little. I am shocked, overjoyed, overwhelmed, amazed, and yet a bit saddened by this moment. I have to enjoy each and everyone because the moments are fleeting. As it is, I didn’t get any pictures because I was not expecting this at all!
She’s so little!
On other notes, I promised you some more layouts that I have done for her book. I apologize for the cropping. I still haven’t figured out the best way to get a good photo of a lo.
and to leave you with a picture that is appropriate for mommy tonight because mommy did not expect the rolling over thing…where were the instructions on that?

Awake still because I want to make sure Camielle is going to stay asleep for awhile.
Last night, Derek, Niki and Hannah dropped in for awhile. Niki and I got to scrapbook for awhile. It was nice to scrapbook with someone else, and not just by myself. I will post some pictures of the layouts later. In the meantime here are some pictures of Camielle for you to enjoy.
